Catherine is an experienced Associate Lawyer that centres her personal injury practice on helping clients who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents; work, sports & recreational activities; and, slip and fall incidents. She takes a client-focused, results driven approach with all her clients to help get them the compensation they deserve. While representing her clients, Catherine also helps to ensure a smooth legal experience by guiding clients through the legal process and dealing with insurance companies.
Prior to joining the Harrison Pensa team in 2017, Catherine gained a wealth of civil litigation experience while serving as an insurance defense lawyer. Catherine also acquired many years of experience in the areas of government and real estate law.
Following her call to the bar in 2005, Catherine started her career as a crown solicitor. Catherineâ€™s policy work helped shape real estate law reform in Ontario. She also served as a Professor within Fanshawe Collegeâ€™s Law Clerk Program and has contributed to the legal profession by giving presentations, contributing to publications and creating learning materials for both the Ontario Bar Association and the Middlesex Law Association.
Catherine attended the University of Western Ontario graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Following her studies at Western, Catherine attended the University of Ottawa where she completed her Baccalaureate of Laws in 2004. Catherine is a member of the Law Society of Canada as well as the Middlesex Law Association.
Outside of work, Catherine enjoys an active lifestyle of running, volunteering and participating in yoga, as well as spending quality time with her family sailing, camping and enjoying the outdoors.
